Custom-Made Creations
Process
For those seeking a truly personalized experience, I offer custom-made creations that begin with you. The process starts with a brief consultation where we discuss potential silhouettes, design details, and fabric choices that best express your style. During this meeting, I also take your measurements to ensure the foundation for a perfect fit.
Next, I craft a muslin—a test garment—to give you a tangible preview of the design. This fitting session is essential, as it allows us to fine-tune the fit and make any necessary adjustments before moving forward. I do as many fitting sessions as needed to achieve the perfect fit.
Once we achieve the ideal shape, I then create the final garment using your chosen fashion fabric. Throughout every stage, I pay close attention to each detail, ensuring that the finished piece is not only impeccably constructed but also uniquely tailored to you.
Pricing
Pricing varies depending on the complexity of the garment and fabric being used, but total price tends to fall within the $400-500 range (per piece). I charge in two different tranches: approx. $150-200 for development of the muslin and fittings, and $250-300 to make the final garment. If you want me to make future versions using the same base pattern (but with minor variations such as a different fabric or different skirt shape), I will only charge for making the final garment, as we won’t need to develop and fit the muslin again.

SAMPLE Re-Imagined Heirlooms
One of my favorite projects to work on is to transform cherished heirloom garments—like your mom’s wedding dress or a beloved vintage skirt—into custom pieces that fit you and your lifestyle. With deep respect for the original story and craftsmanship, I work closely with you to preserve the memories while creating something fresh, wearable, and uniquely yours.
Thank you so much [for the white dress]! It fits great; I did not want it to be too snug around my waist. The building is having a pool party on the rooftop next weekend so that’s a perfect event to break it in!
