Sabrina Lee

Sabrina Lee is a sewing fanatic who loves making colorful, statement-making clothes. The current covid crisis has also inspired her to start refashioning old clothes instead of consuming more fabric, so many of her projects use discarded clothes sourced from her own closet, friends or local thrift shops.

Sabrina has studied tailoring, pattern drafting and fashion design at Central St. Martins, the London College of Fashion and other universities in the London area. She has also attended the tailoring intensive workshop at the National Tailoring Academy in Dublin, Ireland and the couture sewing workshop by Susan Khalje.

She has written articles for various sewing publications, including:

Sabrina handmakes every single dress with care at her home studio in Cary, NC. She sells her work at craft fairs and art festivals in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. Follow her on Instagram for behind-the-scenes photos of ongoing projects and updates on upcoming markets!
